When you schedule your appointment, you have reserved this time in our schedule, and we have placed it aside to meet with you. Without adequate notice, we are unable to serve you or anyone else in need. With that in mind, we have a very simple and strict cancellation and no-show policy for our patients.
A No-Show is when a client fails to notify the office and is absent for their scheduled appointment with their therapist.
A late cancellation is when a client cancels an appointment within 24 hours of the appointment.
If you are unable to attend an appointment, we request that you contact us as soon as you are aware and provide more than 24 hours advance notice.
You will be responsible for a $50.00 fee if cancellation is less than 24 hours or if you fail to attend your scheduled session without at least 24 hours advance notice.
If you are more than 15 minutes late to your scheduled appointment, the session may be cancelled and you will be responsible for the late cancellation fee.
You will be responsible for a $50.00 fee if there is Late Cancellation or No-Show for your initial intake appointment. You will be provided with one additional opportunity to schedule an intake appointment.
Our staff will attempt to notify you of your upcoming appointments. However, this is provided as a courtesy only. You are still responsible for remembering your appointment. Not receiving this notice or receiving it after the 24-hour time limit does not excuse you from this responsibility.
Consecutive missed appointments (2 or more no shows or late cancellations in a row) may result in termination of services.
HEALTH INSURANCE DOES NOT PROVIDE COVERAGE FOR CANCELLATION FEES.
